0:22.9	Our top story, Tuesday is kind of election day, kind of.
0:27.6	Sort of election day.
0:29.9	So a couple of things that I found out today.
0:32.1	One is the Supreme Court told North Carolina
0:34.7	and Pennsylvania that they could extend
0:37.8	the kind of deadline in Pennsylvania specifically.
0:41.0	It was unclear from the article I read whether North Carolina
0:45.0	was going to allow ballots that were not postmarked by election day
0:51.0	but Pennsylvania they're going to allow three extra days to
0:56.1	accept ballots mailed by election day. Now with North Carolina it's Novemberth, I think will be the deadline for receiving it, which is quite late.
1:06.5	I mean, I think it's the third, November 3rd is technically election day.
1:11.5	So, so there is all sorts of weirdness here. One is that at least seven
1:16.7	states or last I checked seven states I've been communicating with a guy in New York
1:20.5	who's involved in the election stuff saying that they are that on
1:24.9	election day they see if you or on when they count the absentee ballots they look and
1:29.6	see if you went to a poll on election day and then they discount your
1:32.4	absentee ballot.
1:34.4	But to me that means that you can't even address those absentee ballots until after polls close.
1:39.7	So that is going to create a huge backlog in a place like New York where they're freaked out about all this stuff.
