Chris so many of these guys downstairs brought that up with me just it's not just the extra day

they were really singing about the extra day oh yeah they are yeah but but it was also just hey

DK Metcalf's going to be back we can go back to our normal assignments and so forth. Yeah. And the whole, like, D.K. Metcalf coming back thing, like, that was brought up, like, unsolicitedly by some of the players. Oh, yeah. It wasn't like, hey, how are excited are you to get, no, they were, like, bringing it up on their own. Marquez Valdez Scantling said to me, and it was just me and him there after he had been done with his like formal interviews and stuff.

He said, you know, we did a lot of different things to adjust to his absence.

We weren't about to something that you brought up in our programs over the course of the week,

they weren't about to just say, to heck with it, we're not going to throw.

Or we're not going to throw deep.

Now, it wasn't always pretty when they did.

But when they made some plays, including over the middle to Adam Thielen,

including to Valdez Scantling, who I felt really to an extent,

you know, take this from somebody who said he shouldn't even be getting a helmet for this game,
