It's one of the reasons I'm always laughing when people say, oh yeah, draft is over.

Big, big day in Pittsburgh sports.

Obviously, with the Penguins firing Mike Sullivan as head coach, nobody saw that coming.

I mean, nobody.

It was one of those rare cases of a press release just dropping on everybody's heads

like a bomb.

You know,

nobody even broke this story or anything.

It was just,

I'm not even sure where to go with that particular subject. I know that that's what's what everybody

in this city is talking about right now. This is a two-time Stanley Cup championship coach

who did a lot of good things, put a lot of passion and pride into his work.

I can tell you from personal experience, this is a really, really good human and the consummate professional.

And that I'll miss him.

I'm not going to speak for others, but I'm going to guess that pretty much everybody who encountered Mike Solomon is going to miss him.

It's a crazy time in general for the penguins and where they go next.

But I'll tell you what, you can't accuse Kyle Dubus of just sitting and waiting to see how things are going to play out.

He saw some stuff that he didn't like, literally didn't like.

Of course, there was another event over the weekend, and being that this is the double shot of Steelers, we'll get into that as well.
