Hey guys, welcome to double shot of pirates on this semi-rainy, semi-chilly, semi-un settling Friday afternoon here in downtown Pittsburgh. I say semi

unsettling because we're always in a state of unsettlement when our teams aren't all

right with the world. Steelers of course have months to go before anything that they do matters all that much.

Peng was just getting eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.

And the team, you're going, all right, well, that's okay because the pirates are going to be fun this summer.

They're in a five-game losing streak.

That's unsettling.

That's what I'm talking about. Now, if you want to take some solace

in anything, it's just this weather that I just mentioned to you. About 50 degrees or so. It's not,

again, it's not oppressive or anything, but it's going to be, well, unsettling for some hitters.

It's not hitting weather. What it is is Mitch Keller weather. Mitch and I have a running joke.

Anytime he pitches in the cold to start talking about his past as an Iowa lad.

And he is that and he's proud of it.

And he actually thinks about it when he's on the mound.

He sees it as his strength and the hitter's weakness.

Because he knows he's not going to necessarily get the best swings out of those guys,

the best approach is because

they're unsettled.

So let's see if Mitch can end this losing streak, which is now five games, again, and the team

is now 500.

This, after all kinds of, whoo, going through the first month.

On May the 1st, right now, before they play a single game, they are 16 and 16.
