And joining me from Houston, Texas, deep in the heart of Texas, as they'll be playing for you in the seventh inning at MinuteMade Park.

It's Jose Negra on our beat reporter.

Jose, matchup tonight, Bubba Chandler, against Mike Burroughs, you would think this would have been something that would have come with some real anticipation,

right? Instead, it just kind of sneaks up on us.

Yeah, I don't think it's the matchup that you probably would have expected it to be,

just based on the seasons that these two have had.

You know, Bubba Chandler's still trying to kind of find his way this season.

And kind of the same thing for Mike Burroughs.

I mean, he's coming off one of his better starts of the year going seven innings.

He gave up two runs his last outing.

He's had a couple of good ones as of late.

I know he went seven scoreless in an outing earlier this month as well. But yeah, I mean, you know,

it's, I think it's going to be, which offense is ready to show up. I think that's what it's

going to be tonight. Well, one of these offenses had 25 runs over the weekend against the

twins and a whole bunch of home runs and everything else that's been going on.

And it's funny because the overwhelming sentiment and with cause before season was that this was going to be a team that would have to be carried by its pitching and then we just need to basically survive at

the plate. It's not like the pitching's been bad, but it's been selectively bad, including

Chandler tonight. Chandler, I think he has to at least show some control. I think he has to show some signs of whatever it is that they're looking for.
