Out in Wilkesbury covering the Calder Cup playoffs,

the Wilkesbury Scranton Penguins lost game one last night to the Toronto Marley's

by a four to two count.

And I really enjoyed and appreciated the way you described Kirk McDonald's post-game press conference in that he used the word fine multiple times.

That's some pretty telling stuff because you don't need for your hockey team to be fine in a playoff setting, do you?

When he was saying fine, he was very clearly irritated.

It's like, we were fine, we were fine.

There are some things to like.

I mean, they outshot, I can't remember what the final shot totals were, but it was something like 33 to 16. The problem was there was a lot of perimeter hockey. So the Marley's goalie, whose name escapes me, something Russian and long. He didn't, he, you know, he finished with a lot of saves.

He did not have to make a lot of tough saves.

So, uh, Kirk said if, if you look at the analytic, like, because they get advanced

analytics today, he's like, I'm sure our advanced analytics reports are really good,

but they were just not happy with the quality.
