Anthony Manta finally got a contract, you guys.

Like, this is, to me, the biggest surprise of this offseason.

In the context that you saw instantly what the capitals were willing to do to get Alex

tuck away from his hometown sabers, I mean, they gave everything for this guy and then grossly

overpaid him until his age 40 season. And he wasn't anywhere near as productive as

Mantha was this past season for the Penguins. Really, really don't get this.

I'd love to talk about it with you guys.

If you have some theories on this.

But he ended up getting from the Devils two years with an AV of 4.75 million.

That's not what anybody was thinking going into this offseason.
