But if your favorite football team is going to continue to pursue their favorite 42-year-old quarterback,

then college-level logic will tell you powerfully that they believe in the

coming seasons team just as powerfully. Because there'd be no other reason to get Aaron Rogers. Not one. It wouldn't be for his mentorship,

whether it would be over Mason Rudolph or Will Howard or Skyler Thompson. He's not that guy. He's

never been that guy. It wouldn't be to build up some sort of momentum toward the future, because that actually

wouldn't make much sense either, considering, I mean, they did start the last season 10 and

three before nosediving.

So it's not like they're totally unfamiliar with success.

It wouldn't be so that they'd find the best possible fit for the Arthur Smith offense.

There's voluminous evidence to the contrary. Not that one or the other couldn't or shouldn't assimilate. I'm just saying in a vacuum,

they're not matched at the moment. It's to win the Super Bowl. That's the goal. That's going to be
