one of my more frequent criticisms of Mike Tomlin over the years was that in times of trouble,

he'd get overly simplistic. He would just say, tackle, tackle, tackle.

Well, actually, that's not a bad idea.

here was it an oversimplication on tomlin's part apparently not because he clearly didn't

emphasize it enough for it to be effective the afcc North Division Champion Pittsburgh Steelers with their 10 and 7 record had 126 mistackles over the course of the season.

That was the third most mistackles of anybody.

They were five behind the commanders and only about a zillion behind the Bengals.

Exactly the team you'd be expecting to be way at the top.

They had 170.

I mean, they just couldn't tackle anything.

But 126 is bad enough and there's no couching it. For example, if you want to say,
