We do know who most people think they're going to take in the first round.

In little more than a day now, the Steelers will be picking 21st overall, paring a move up.

I don't believe you're going to see the move down.

And although there are still commonly three, four, even five names associated with Pittsburgh at the 21st slot, the one that's the most frequently mentioned by those in the industry, and by that I mean the media slash analysis

industry, who do this sort of stuff 362 days a year, is Venga Yawane, the guard from Penn State.

Now, almost everyone attaches an asterisk, as I have myself, I like the player a lot,

in that because the Ravens are picking a few spots ahead of the Steelers, they also need

offensive line help. They're also known

to like Yawane, that he might be long gone by the time it's the Steelers' turn, in which case

you would most likely see the Steelers turn to wide receiver. I've made no secret of my own preference, for that being the

position, all other things being equal, and the pack is of such quality and quantity in the first

round that I almost don't care who they end up with if it's a wide receiver. But I want to

throw something else at you here.
