The less spoken about this, the better.

But I'm going to at least offer the standard summation.

First, the good Nick Gonzalez continues his strong start. Three for four. He's got a

323 average in a 740 OPS. This despite not a lot of pop, but one of his three hits was a double, good

for him. Mason Montgomery was the opener. That was uneventful. Justin Lawrence pitched after that.

One inning, also uneventful.

And then Wilbur D'Otel came on.

Dude, had some gas.

Four perfect innings with three strikeouts and clocking his fastball into triple digits within that.

But yeah, Dennis Santana came in in the ninth,

and it did not go well at all.

Back-to-back home runs after one out by Pedro Pius and J.J. Weatherholt,

the Mars High School product.

That tied the score at two.

Then there was a soft single by Alec Berluson.

Then there was a walk.

The bases were loaded.
