Penguins 3 Wild 1 here yesterday at Excel Energy Center, a really nice overall thorough

performance.

You could argue that it was highlighted by Sidney Crosby getting a couple of goals, including the last one

he'll ever get on Mark Andre Fleury. You could argue that it was equally awesome to see that

Yvgeny Malkin put one past the flower or even better that the flower had a lot of fun things to

say about that afterward. Notably, some fun shots at Sid, remembering goals that he scored against flour all the way back in juniors.

You could also point to the penalty killing, which had to eat up eight of the 20 minutes in the second period.

Eight of 20 minutes were spent short-handed.

And these guys really got it done on seven Minnesota power plays.

Only eight shots were recorded.

But, but you can't really go too much further without mentioning Tristan Jari.

Playing in the NHL for the first time since January 14, playing in the NHL after a lot of people,

myself included, wondered if he'd ever do that again.

He was outstanding.

He'd given up 13 goals in his last three AHL games.
