I suppose I shouldn't have hit record just so soon because only a few minutes after I posted the previous podcast on Devonce Adams signing with the Rams. Go back and listen to it if you didn't hear it.

News broke that the Pittsburgh Steelers are acquiring D.K. McCaff. There's a bunch of picks on the move. I don't have the exact

numbers of all the picks, but the big one, you could boil it down. It's for a second round pick.

So not quite the first round pick that maybe the Seahawks were looking for, though they're

asking price when you added it all up, it looked like it was, you know,

basically like 14th, 13th overall value. So very high there. But I think a second round is

fine for the Seahawks. Obviously, a lot is changing over there. And I want to get to that

in a minute, but let's talk about the straightforward. Metcalf is going to get paid.

There is going to be an additional contract

tacked onto this thing, a new five-year deal worth of reported $150 million. So he gets to the

30 million per year range. And obviously that means there's going to be a few years of guaranteed.

So he's going to be here for a couple years at least. I mean like three is the couple that I'm talking about at least. And then we'll

see what the details of the contract ultimately are. But regardless, he steps into a situation as a

downfield presence, a big play downfield guy on a team with a downfield, a big play downfield guy

and George Pickens.

So you can imagine what Pittsburgh's trying to do on that front.

However, obviously the biggest question that remains here isn't necessarily what D.K.

McCaff is doing or George Pickens, for that matter.

It's who the heck is throwing these guys the football.

As of right now, we're getting

the old scarecrow from Wizard of Oz routine from the team like, hey, we could go this way or

that way or we could go both ways. We don't know. The whole Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, or
