New Year's came early this year in the NFL as the Rams decided to kick free agency off.

A tick early here, signing Devante Adams to a two-year deal.

And I only kid a little bit in saying they're kicking it off.

They were fully able to sign Devante Adams at this point because he's a free agent.

He was released. He is allowed to sign before the

official league tampering period starts tomorrow. So he's in the mix here for the Rams, which is

a really interesting move for a couple reasons. I mean, first and foremost, let's bring it to Cooper

Cup. Cooper Cup is only a few years removed from one of the best seasons in NFL history.

He won the Triple Crown as a wide receiver.

It was tremendous.

No denying that.

But age hit hard for Cooper Cup.

And over the last couple seasons here, he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Really, going back to 21, that was his last

healthy season. He played nine games in 2022, 12 in 2023, and 2024. And he was a liability. So he's

almost certainly, well, he's out in one way, shape, or form. Whether he's traded or not, I mean,

it's unlikely he's traded, but he's gone.

But obviously for fantasy purposes, I don't think that many of us in his age 32 season

or two in on Cooper Cup, but I bet a lot of us are on Pukkahua. And yes, when you get a guy

like Devante Adams in the building, there is going to be somewhat of a gravitational

force. Now, obviously, Devante Adams at this point in his career doesn't carry the full
