1:51.1	here we did something that the shadow was kind of overhanging us ever since we first
1:56.3	started talking months ago about kind of a legacy in the United States politically and otherwise of the Bernie campaign and what followed from that.
2:06.8	This has been on our syllabus and now finally we're tackling it.
2:10.6	I will say that you and me have had a couple false starts on this one. A couple things
2:15.8	interceded there. And I think that a lot of the research we had done initially for an episode
2:20.8	that was meant to be recorded two months ago, two and a half months ago,
2:24.8	has been superseded by events because things keep moving so quickly in the world.
2:30.4	But we're here to finally do it and just know that by the end of this, when this comes out,
2:37.0	events might have overcome things again, but we're going to get into some deep history. We're going to get into geopolitics.
2:45.0	Importantly, we're going to get into political economy.
2:48.0	And I think, too, what this means for the future of global capitalism and the world and ourselves but also what it might mean politically.
