The best gifts are not material but spiritual, not temporal, but eternal, and not earthly, and not earthly, but heavenly.

In the book of Ephesians, we discover a rich list of what God has given to his children.

Let's join Scott Pauli now as we open this portion of scripture and take inventory of all spiritual blessings that are ours in Christ.

From time to time, I hear someone say, it's a mystery to me.

They mean by that, of course, that there's something that is unknowable,

something they cannot figure out, they can't wrap their mind around it.

In a sense, we all like a good mystery every now and then.

There's a challenge in it. Well, today we have come to, not just any mystery, we have come to a

divine mystery. And I think it's important to tell you before we look at the scripture in

Ephesians chapter number three, that when God uses the word mystery, he doesn't use it like we use

the word mystery. It's not

a mystery in the sense of it's unknowable. You can't know this. In fact, it's revealed. Paul's

very plain to say it was given by revelation. The word mystery in the Bible is literally a sacred

secret. It is something that was in the mind and heart of God in eternity

past, something that he has always planned and purposed, but now at a certain time he reveals it.

It was never a mystery to God. He knows everything, but it is indeed a mystery to us.

We're looking in this amazing book of Ephesians

at all of these spiritual blessings

that are given to God's people,

and today we come to the blessing of divine wisdom.
