Welcome to our Rosary meditation. I want to invite you to come out tonight at 6.30 p.m. to Queen of the Holy Rosary in Wea, Kansas, where I will be giving a talk on our lady's role in spiritual warfare at 6.30 p.m. and then we'll pray the rosary. And then again,

And tonight I am blessed to be joined by my son-in-law, Nick, to pray the rosary for he and my daughter Sarah and my grandson, Cormack, are in town.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

This is Divine Mercy Sunday.

And we offer this rosary for all those that need a greater inflow of divine mercy.

Well, what is the big deal about Divine Mercy Sunday?

Everyone knows God is merciful, right?

What's the problem out there?

Is the problem that people think their sins are too big to be forgiven?

Is everybody despairing out there?

Does everybody go around saying that they have sins which are so bad they

don't think that they can ever be forgiven? Hardly. The world isn't spending all this time feeling

guilty. If you tell people, God's so merciful, he'll forgive even you. They'll say, yeah, I'm sure he will. I know he's a loving God, and I'm not that bad of a person anyway.

So I don't have any trouble believing in his infinite mercy that it's sufficient to forgive all my sins.

So why are we spending so much time on mercy when everybody already knows that God is a merciful God?

Well, I think people aren't worried that God won't give them mercy.

I think deep down they're worried he will.

People are afraid of God's mercy,

afraid of what he might do to us and in us

if we give God permission to do
