Okay, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen. I am blessed to be with some

fantastic KU students up here in Lawrence. We've had good conversation, a meal, and now we're going to pray the rosary.

I also want to give a shout out to Stephanie Fitzgerald in Edina, Minnesota.

Stephanie, we are coming to your house

with Rosary on the road,

so get your place ready.

And let's call to mind all those

that we've promised to pray for, especially for this young woman, Margot, who was in a car accident last summer, the traumatic brain injury for her healing and for the healing of Olivia Canile.

Now after the resurrection, Peter and John did not quite know what to do with themselves, so they went back to fishing.

And after a long night, having caught nothing, suddenly Jesus appeared on the shore and he directs them to a miraculous catch.

Maybe the words of the Lord from the Last Supper came flooding back into their memory.

Apart from me, you can do nothing, he said to them.

Now the most important truth of Christianity is that Jesus wants to come and live in us and through us.

Yet we just keep trying to live by our intelligence and effort alone.

Well, Peter and John finally learned their lesson and they did work miracles,

literally.

In the acts of the Apostles, Peter and John Heel, a crippled band

which immediately results in their arrest and trial

at which they testified that they were not capable of doing this on their own,

but that Jesus had been the one who cured the man through them.
