Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Jesus taught Saint Faustina that his goodness and mercy was unlimited and available even to the greatest of sinners.

The first way Jesus revealed to her that we may receive his mercy is through the image of divine mercy.

Jesus appeared to Faustina and she writes of the encounter.

In the evening when I was in my room I saw the Lord Jesus clothed in a white garment.

One hand was raised in the gesture of blessing, the other was touching the garment at the breast.

From beneath the garment, slightly drawn aside, there were emanating two large rays from the heart.

One red, the other white.

In silence I kept my gaze fixed on the Lord.

My soul was struck with awe, but also with great joy. After a while, Jesus said to me,

paint an image according to the pattern you see,

and then write in your own signature at the bottom.

Jesus, I trust in you.

Later Jesus said to her, by means of this image, I will grant many graces to souls so make sure every person has access to it.

I encourage you to place the image of divine mercy in a prominent or central place in your home.
