All right, folks, today is Tuesday, October the 14th. And while we are technically still in a government shutdown, I just want to remind you that you do need to pay your taxes by tomorrow for those of you who filed an extension. I know not everybody can get the situations handled by April 15th, but the second deadline is tomorrow, October the 15th. So please make sure that you filed that and handled it. Because even though, again, the government is shut down, you go ahead and try to act like you to government and you shut down and you don't pay these taxes on time. You're going to be hit with fines and penalties. And it may take them a minute to get to you, but I guarantee you they will get to you. But today I really want to talk about something that I think is far more existential and something that we really do need to be much more aware of when it comes to how we envision moving forward.

Hell, at this point, I'm trying to imagine how we envision tread and water.

these raids. Yes, we need to be concerned about what's happening with these raids yes

we need to be concerned about the fact that black people are getting caught up in it whether you

you think they was just here for the immigrants or not baby you getting in it because you ain't white

so basically everybody's got a bull's eye but there's another element to this with regards to how

the militarization of the government is really about to have all of us in a vice group is literally about to hand us all our asses. So take a listen to this clip from Vic Mensa, and then we will unpack it and I'll make some connections on the other side. Take a listen. I visited the apartment building at Ice Raided in Chicago. You, they was on some Nazi shit. They were marking people homes who they were going to target. That's something I've seen in

another police state that I visited personally, which I won't say, but it rhymes with Calvin Klein.

I'm going to tell you why this is just an extension of the Civil War, late-stage Confederacy

lost cause narrative. In 2023, Texas Governor Greg Abbott literally sent these Venezuelan immigrants to Chicago on a bus in the middle of the fucking winter.

We were giving them food and clothing because they showed up in flip-flops and t-shirts.

Two years later, Texas National Guard is in Chicago with ICE to capture the Venezuelan immigrants that they already had because they sent them here.

And they're using that as an opportunity to attack black people and democratic cities in general.

That's like robbing a motherfucker and helping them find what you stole.
