Summary

Martin is pleased to welcome back writer, teacher and outdoor education practitioner Dan Kriesberg to the program along with Camille Simone Edwards Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Diversity Education In Nature (DEIN) Along with Camille Simone Edwards, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Friends Academy, we have developed a series of workshops and seminars that use the outdoors as a classroom for teaching communities how to build more equitable and inclusive human ecosystems with the earth as a role model.

Kids In Nature (KIN): Along with some friends, we started an organization whose mission is to. So far, we have led about 25 walks and plan to eventually become a non-profit. The mission of Kids in Nature is to facilitate fun and educational experiences for young people in nature-deprived areas to encounter the wild. KIN experiences offer young people the opportunity to gain the physical, emotional, and social benefits that come from being outdoors.
