parenting. Hey guys, today we're going to cover a really important topic for us, just as individuals,

as believers, people who love Jesus, but also as parents. And we're going to talk about diversity.

And I know you're like me. You can't even turn on the news without seeing issues related to how

our culture is dealing with diversity and how often it's done so very wrong. And so I've found

that I tend to shy away from this topic in terms of writing or podcast or whatever because I'm

afraid I'm not going to do it right. I might offend someone or just not say the right things, but I know that's not from the

Lord and shying away from this issue is not the answer. So today, we're going to talk very candidly

as people who love Jesus about diversity and our role biblically as individuals who love Jesus, but also as parents raising kids in today's

culture. And we have two awesome guests with us today. Mia Imbrough, who's a licensed counselor,

has been with us before on the podcast. And she comes as an African-American woman with an

amazing perspective for us. And then her dear friend, Jenny Brady, who's the director of

diversity at a private school

Prestonwood Christian Academy. And the two of them together love to speak into this topic and really

give us a lot of challenges and things to think about. I would just pray today that you would

listen to this, let it stir a little bit in your heart, pray where the Lord would speak into you

specifically, and ponder it for a while

and then see what the Lord would have you do as next steps. I think all of us have a lot of places where we
