So I started dating a guy about a month ago.

I thought he really liked me.

He genuinely seemed interested in all the areas of my life and seemed to have no issues

with the fact that I have children.

As a young single mom, I'm always nervous how a guy will react when I tell him that I have

children.

Fortunately, it didn't seem to have any concerns or issues with it.

With such a relief to know I found a great guy who seems to accept all of me.

So I was a bit confused and hurt recently.

He told me that he wanted to introduce me to his parents.

I was thrilled because this seemed like a huge step.

However, when we were on our way to meet them for dinner, he told me not to tell them

about my kids.

He also told me not to tell them I am divorced.
