I mean, tomato basil here at the huddle is what our commissary is called here on the NFL media campus.

Damashik, by the way, still. Who is smarts about that? Aggrieved over them, some suit in New York taking his name off the soup station here in L.A. David somehow lobbied. This is years ago now to have it renamed the Dave Damashek. Soup station. Station. And it had a picture of Dave's head and he was quite proud of it

it was like hey fella I know it actually yeah it had a little quote in it yeah a little bubble

I mean it was right up Damashick alley and then one day it was mysteriously gone and you know

sheck goes knocking on doors check will go up to the third floor too he's a big time like I'm knocking

I want to find out what's going on. And he found out that one of the third floor shadow league figures deemed it inappropriate and removed it. I had a brief conversation with him. And he still holds it like five years later. I wish he was still here. He was just behind the glass a few minutes ago.

We could have brought him in.

And he could have given us 10 minutes during a slow time of the year, just ranting about the end of the Dave Damashik soup kitchen. I got some good rants the other day from him after the Talent Summit. And I told him he should, when he writes his book, it should be called My List of Grievances is long. It's been a great run with Sheck and hopefully many years longer.
