Department of Education. They are new California health standards that are

going to be applicable throughout the public schools in the state of California.

And so we want to just, we don't have, it's just going to be the two of us today.

We want to talk about what's in these new health standards, why it matters,

why it matters if you're a parent or if you're a student or if you're a teacher. And there's a lot, there's a lot to unpack here.

And so we want to do that in the next few minutes.

It's also available still for comment that you can give to educational officials,

it will not be formally adopted until May of 2019.

So there's still time to have some sort of comment on it.
