Turn to John chapter 10. Are you still doing your homework? We're in a series going through the book of John. Are you enjoying the series? I am whether you are not. I just want you to know. I have a great time reading the book of John and studying the book of John the series is entitled revealing the mystery and we're dividing it up into like four and five chapter sections so you can get those CD sets if you like.

The first four chapters were the beginnings and the next five chapters were the mysteries.

We talked about the mystery of healing and the mystery of identification.

With that, say, John 7 is called the mystery of identification.

It's one of the, to me, it's one of the most wonderful truths that Jesus became

a human so he could relate to us.

And now we're going to begin a new kind of series topical study in these going through John 10, 11, 12, and 13, and we're calling this

discovery. We're discovering different things about Jesus. Tonight is

discover the Shepherd, that he is the Shepherd and I want us to discover what that means to us.

All right?

So John chapter 10 verse 1.

Most assuredly I say to you, he who does not come, he who does not enter the sheetfold by the door but

climbs up some other way the same as a thief and a robber but he who enters by the

door is the shepherd of the sheep.

To him, the doorkeeper opens.

And the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name

and leaves them out.

And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them.

This is a great passage that Jesus goes before us.

And the sheep follow him, for they know his voice, several times it says you can know his voice.

Several times it says you can know the voice of God.
