And today we're going to be talking about the magic of Pendulums and a bit about dowsing.

Their use throughout history goes far back.

An ancient China Pendulums were used to protect the user from negativity and evil spirits.

Ancient Egyptians used them to choose where to plant their crops. Some even believed that the

Enk symbol developed from Pendulums. It's believed Pendulums were used the Oracle Adelphi.

The fourth century Roman soldier and writer, Aminus March lionus, meticulously describes how a group of people

used Pendulum to conspire against the Emperor. He said a priest held a ring suspended by thread over a

plate that contained the letters of the alphabet. So kind of like a primitive Ouija board. And everyone

watched as the Pendulums spelled out the words T, H, E, and O, which meant that the next Emperor would be

Theodorus. March lionus also described a tripod he witnessed that was carved with snakes, an ancient

symbol of divination, with a ring suspended from the center of the tripod. He wrote that this tripod

was used to answer questions. Then we move up from the fourth century to the 13th century when Pope John

the 22nd issued a bull banning quote the use of a ring to obtain answers in the manner of the devil.

So we go from these Romans and Egyptians using Pendulum to help with crops and divination and

all sorts of things to it being the devil's work. In the 19th century, an Italian man named Francesco

Campetti used Pendulums to help him find water and minerals under the ground. So you can see this

kind of pendulum swinging back and forth in terms of how we view the use of the psychic tool from

helpful and and enable you to find needed resources to being evil and negative.

One of the first men to seriously study Pendulums was a Frenchman named Michel Eugene Chevereau,

who was then the director of the Natural History Museum in Paris. By 1834, he revealed that his
