We've said it before, we'll say it again.

Inflation is touching just about every part of life these days, and that includes, of course, groceries.

We recently told you how dollar stores are expanding their lineup of produce and canned products

as folks continue looking to them for cheaper options. But it turns out, good old-fashioned discount

grocery store chains are also benefiting

from sky-high prices at standard outlets, and the people causing that growth at these discount chains

might not be who you think. You've probably heard of Aldi. The discount grocery chain is on

track to become the third largest grocery retailer discount or not by the end of the year based on store count.

Right now, over 2,000 locations have cropped up across most of the U.S., though if you live in the Pacific Northwest or Great Plains, you probably don't have one yet.
