A scriptural text today comes from St. John chapter 8, verse 31 and 32. Notice these words.

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed him, if you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed,

and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free

we're talking today simply from the subject disciple makers disciple makers

because I want you to understand that we are called to make disciples not converts

one is an event the other one is a process and to become a disciple of

Jesus Christ we have to be put in process you have to learn to trust the

process of God that the regeneration of the Holy Ghost is a process it's's a process as he transforms us. You're not just

taken immediately and everything just made totally brand new in the twinkling of an eye,

but it's a process over time. He roots things out of us. You find that desires for this will begin to wane

until you'll discover that one day it's not even there so God develops us by process

almost everything that happens happens by process if you're going to make dinner it

happens by process it's not just af-dabra and there it is.

I mean when you make real dinner.

I'm not talking about what you pop into the microwave.

I'm talking about when you, I'm talking about a crop pop kind of flavor that you cannot imitate with pressing a button on a microwave

but I'm talking about when if you've ever had ox tails that were done right if you

know anything about steak and gravy and chicken and gravy and fried pork chops and mashed potatoes, this is a process.

And you have to make things. So dinner is made by process. Every man is made by process. Every woman is made by process. Every building is built by a process. Every school is

developed by a process. A body that is brought into a pristine physical form is done so by process.

I've got discouraged in the gym myself because after I did 50 sit-ups I expected to see lines on my stomach
