Summary

One of the most incredible things we can do with the life God has given us is to point people to Jesus. We get to guide people to his unconditional love and the freedom found in him! But how do we do this? How do we encourage others to take the next step on their spiritual journey? This weekend, Pastor Andy Wood shares four ways we can become a better guide to Jesus.

0:00.0	And today we're celebrating the faithfulness of God. I was reminded of a time I was at my brother's house.
0:07.2	My grandma was like 90 years old and my brother had placed a bed in his living room for her to sleep on.
0:13.2	She was falling asleep. She had taken her hearing aids out and she didn't know anybody could hear her.
0:17.3	And she was just praying, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. There's something special, something powerful about that name.
0:24.4	No matter where you are in your journey spiritually, whether this is your first time in church,
0:28.3	you've been coming for a long time, there is hope from God for you today.
0:33.5	We are wrapping up a message series.
0:35.4	It's called One Life.
0:36.6	It's been a four-week journey for us, a campaign that's been focused on letting God use our one life to make a difference here on planet Earth. And it's been a great journey. In fact, God's done amazing things in us. God's going to do amazing things through us. We launched new small groups together. There were 1,150 plus of you who
0:58.0	said yes to hosting small groups. I want to say way to go. Literally tens of thousands of lives
1:04.5	impacted because you said yes to host groups. There were 4,468 people who signed up to say, I'm going to pray for one life to
1:14.1	encounter the love of Jesus, to experience salvation. And today I went outside at the Lake
1:18.8	Forest campus. It just so happened. I was signing on the bubbles, one life, and somebody had
1:24.8	written my name to receive salvation. Andy Wood was there. So thank you.
1:29.0	Whoever wrote that, thank you for praying for my salvation. This series was awesome. I was like,
1:35.1	maybe they don't know I'm saved. Or maybe they misinterpreted it. But anyways, if that was you,
1:40.5	thank you for praying for me. But the big idea of this series has been around one question.
1:45.9	It's how do I make the greatest possible difference with my one life? How do I make the greatest
1:51.2	possible difference with the life God has given me? There's something inside of every one of us
1:56.7	that longs for our lives to count. For those of us who follow Jesus,
2:01.3	the greatest impact that we can make with our life
2:03.7	is pointing people to Jesus.
