This week, I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Julia Minson, a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School.

She is a behavioral scientist who researches the psychology of disagreement, including, you know, conflict, communication, negotiations, and decision making, really to understand better how people engage

with opinions, judgments, and those decisions that differ from their own. You're going to learn a lot

today. You're going to learn, as the title of the book implies, how to disagree better. So without

any further ado, here she is, Dr. Julia Minson. Well, Julia, thank you so much for

joining me today. Thanks for having me. I'm excited to talk about your new book, How to Disagree

Better. But I'm also excited to talk about what got you to the place in your career where, you know,

this book is the book that you, that you are writing. So you're a professor at the Harvard

Kennedy School. And I'm always really interested in like behavioral scientists who are

multidisciplinary. So I studied clinical psychology, which is a very

kind of classic psychology route. It's quite prescribed at this point. There are very specific
