Summary

A London firefighter swaps the intense heat of his day job for the extreme cold of Western Europe’s tallest mountain. As Dan Acquah begins a multi-day ascent with his friend, Matt Tomlinson, spirits are high. But as they inch upwards, the difficulties stack up. With both of their lives in danger, but one climber more mobile than the other, a decision will have to be made. 0:32.0	A howling wind blasts the face of climber Dan Aqua.
0:37.0	Propped up against a snowbank, 15,000 feet above sea level,
0:41.0	his head is slumped forward onto his chest. His breathing is labored,
0:46.3	rasping, he drifts in and out of consciousness.
0:51.2	Shards of ice encrussed his ski mask, but through the gaps he can just make out the contours of the ridge, a huge spine of ice and granite that runs down to the valley floor.
1:02.0	The ridge he should now be descending.
1:07.2	But Dan's going nowhere. In fact, he's been sitting here,
1:10.8	freezing in the snow for over five hours already.
1:15.4	The storm that he was hoping to avoid has swallowed him up, whole, and it's getting worse.
1:21.9	The wind was horrendous. It had to be 50 mile an hour, 60 mile an hour. If you're up that high and a
1:30.4	wind's that horrendous, it really did hit you.
1:34.0	Thankfully he's not alone.
1:36.0	From somewhere nearby, screaming through the Blizzard,
