It is my sincere pleasure to introduce you to our fabulous guest today.

We have Diego P.S. Antini, who is the senior VP of International for Amazon.

He is a member of Amazon's executive team and has been there for the last 10 years.

He's responsible for all of the retail operations in five countries outside the

U.S., including the U.K., Germany, France, Japan, and China. And prior to joining Amazon,

Diego was the vice president and general manager of Apple Computer Europe, where he led operations

in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

But I got to meet Diego about a year ago, actually, in Patagonia.

We were both there working as volunteers for an organization called Endeavour.

And Endeavor is a really cool organization. Maybe I'll tell you a little bit about it later,

where they identify high potential entrepreneurs in the developing world.

And we were there on the International Selection Committee.

I got to know him, was incredibly impressed,

and now this is the second time he's come back to Stanford

to help in our classrooms.

In fact, I understand that he's a closet professor,

and so hopefully he'll get a chance to show us all of his skills.
