There has been no proof of life at all, and we've talked to the sheriff here about that.

He says he believes that she is alive, but that is a belief based on hope and on a

positivity to keep detectives and investigators engaged and optimistic.

To each their own, and I have no idea what I'd do if I was in that circumstance, but I feel

like I'd say to the sheriff, I ain't interested in hope as a strategy. Let's just go with likelihoods, facts, et cetera. Yeah, I don't, I wouldn't guess that's what's happening. I just think until you know somebody's dead, you proceed as if they're alive. Oh, I get that. But, but he states, I think she's still alive. And when they ask him, he says, just hoping it's true.

Okay, well, then don't state you think she's alive.

Okay, I don't know what you're doing.

We're going to proceed as if she is alive.

That's fine.

Yeah, that's absolutely fine.

See, I just interpret the one as saying the other, so.

I've only heard one FBI analysts say this, but I think it's true.
