You guys hit us up on the regular asking about updates for our Birt Show storylines that either

we A forgot about, which is likely because, you know, we cover a lot of ground on this show.

Or, you know, you just, you really want to know, did this thing get tied up in a bow or did it just completely implode?

And so our follow-up Thursday for today, she was hesitant about marrying her fiance

who was almost 100K in debt. But we need to find out if she went through with the wedding or not.

Mo, what were some of the other details?

So last year, I listened to reached out seeking advice about her upcoming wedding. She discovered

that her fiance, who she's been with over seven years, by the way, has significant debt

almost $100,000 worth.

She attempted to help him by paying off $2,000 of his credit card debt,

but she still had major concerns about the other debt she would take on once they were officially married.

So she considered getting a pre-up, which we agreed would be best,

but ultimately was hesitant about even going through with the marriage.

So what did she decide to do in the end?

Here's the update.

It says, Dear Bert Schell, I wrote to you last year about my hesitation and getting married due to my fiance's student debt from another email address.
