straight into the episode. Teresa Ann Beer vanished on June 1st, 1987 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains

near Bass Lake California. She was 16 years old at the time, and her companion, 43-year-old

Russell Welch, also known as Skip, claimed they got separated while searching for Sasquatch.

Skip faced initial charges of abducting Teresa, but these charges were later dropped.

The pair had gone camping somewhere near Shudai Peak, approximately 25 miles northeast of Bass Lake.

When Welch returned without Teresa, suspicions were raised.

She was last seen around 7.20 p.m.

And Welch's explanation would seem to indicate that Bigfoot had taken her. But authorities doubted
