I am Sarah Gonzalez and the world will have to wait at least one more day to find out

if President Trump is indicted as the grand jury was delayed today and told to be

on standby for Thursday.

Now, the reasons for the delay remain unclear, which makes one wonder.

Is Alvin Bradgetting called feet?

Did he think this abuse of prosecutorial authority would go unchecked somehow?

Is he getting pressure from inside his office to stop the political games?

Well, we don't know, but defense attorney Marina Medvin tweeted out,

the NYC Trump grand jury is not meeting today.

The prosecutor canceled the meeting.

This could be a four-way variety of reasons.

One, problem with the witness or two, strategic delay of indictment for security

or other considerations or three, some logistical issue came up.

Since grand juries in Diteham sandwiches,

I expect them to indict even if evidence is conflicting.

So pro-Trump developments in the case aren't likely to be the reason,

but not out of the question entirely.
