Kirk. You did it again, James. We're going into marriage and singleness. And I love this, because this is going to model for all of us how to study scripture and take those peculiar

verses that seem to make us go, hmm, why would Paul say something like that and better

understand them? Because some churches build entire denominations around a verse of

scripture and they feel they got to split off from everybody else and that's how you get

into these weird wonky cults. I am very curious why you chose this

of all topics to discuss today. But first, I want to remind you that Red Truckmen is an awesome

brotherhood, a band of guys who are all about creating a culture of honor in this generation.

And we'll talk more about them in a little bit. So James, why did you choose

this topic about singleness and marrying? This topic came up based upon a discussion that I had

with one of my friends and he brought up just he was trying to make a point and he was saying

that actually it's better to remain single than to get married. But essentially, we're kind of too

weak as men to not give in to the desires of our flesh. So rather than burn with passion,

it would be better to get married. This is what he's saying. This is what he was talking to me

about. And that's something that I had heard from a bunch of different people in my own life,

just kind of when I was young, I didn't really understand it, and never made sense to me,

but I kind of went along with it because I was 12 years old and who am I, how am I going to
