The subject of my investigation is the cruel mass murder of four University of Idaho students.

A case where we are finally getting access to some of the public

records and public evidence that is giving insight into this monster. Here's the

story. In the stillness of a cold Idaho night four University of Idaho

students were slaughtered in their off-campus home.

Kaley Gonzalez, Madison Mogan, Zana Kurnodal, and Ethan Chapin.

Their killer moved like a shadow through the house, leaving behind a trail of horror and shattered lives.

He was caught because of his mistakes.

DNA on the knife sheet left behind,

surveillance video of his car,

and a digital trail that did not add up to an alibi.

Facing the death penalty,

he folded in fear and pleaded guilty,

accepting life behind bars. A generous gift given to him by

prosecutors who had overwhelming evidence of guilt but the lingering question of why has never been
