Hey everyone, welcome back to the mentioned and all podcast.

I'm Dylan Haver.

It is Thursday and I just have to say right off the bat. I had plans for today's

episode that simply did not come to fruition. Look, yesterday I had a great recording with my friend Gibson Johns. I hope you listen to that

episode. I hope you enjoyed it. And then pretty much immediately after that, I was hit with a case of a stomach bug of food poisoning

you know whatever you like to call it it wasn't a great rest of the day for me

and I'm still on the mend I would say but anyway my one of my

plans for today's episode was to catch up on top chef. I have fallen a couple weeks behind it's there's been a lot going on and you know what

this season has not been as must-see TV-ish as the last couple of seasons of top chef I hate to say I don't know what it is if it's

something about the the level of cooking the contestants the the location I do miss Padma though I think Kristen Kish is a good host. You know, I don't know if I'm the only one. I think Top Chef I still love it. I just this season has um it's been a little bit lower down the list for me but anyway I was thinking yes I will

catch up Wednesday is going to be my top chef catch-up day we're going to get up to date and

let me just say that when you are experiencing some

gastrointestinal frustrations that watching several hours of a food-based competition show is not really what you want to be doing.

I sat down. The first episode that I needed to watch to catch up was the sausage episode.
