she's a senior fellow at the Stimson Center, and she's the author, among other things of the

forthcoming book, First Among Equals, U.S. foreign policy for a multipolar world. Emma,

thanks for joining us, and I think you should have moved the

publication date up a couple months at least. You should tell my publisher that, academics,

do you do things fast. Get it, get it out there. Quick. Can you just very quickly, before I bring in

our other guests, what is the Stimson Center? The Stinson Center is a relatively small think

tank in Washington, traditionally focused a lot on nonproliferation. These days, it does a lot on

track two dialogues, ground strategy, regional programs. Okay, and it's named after, is it Henry Stimson,

who was a secretary of State under Roosevelt or something?

Yeah, Secretary of State during portions of World War II.

Also, for those who've seen the movie Oppenheimer, you might recognize him as one of the

characters intimately involved in some of the post-nuclear bomb discussions in that movie.
