Diane has some experience with this because she has run for New York State Senate seat.

And I wanted to get her opinion as to what that process looks like and even to look further

The primaries are underway right now.

We have midterm elections coming up in November.

So I think this is a really great time to get people thinking about this system that we currently have set up.

And some of the major obstacles to ballot access are as

follows. The biggest one is the signature requirements. States often require thousands and

sometimes even tens of thousands of signatures. Many signatures, even though they are gathered,

are often thrown out, in other words, considered invalid because of several reasons, including
