It is a very busy week for Tennessee baseball.

Tennessee beats Lipscomb 14 to 4 in seven innings on Tuesday night at

Lindsay Nelson Stadium handles business the way that it should and now has a quick turnaround

for a big series with Alabama, who is ranked number 13 in the country, and who I think will be arriving in Knoxville

a little irritable because it loses two or three at Texas over the weekend and then it gets

blown out by UAB at home in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night or excuse me on Tuesday night

and so Alabama will have something to prove this weekend to themselves trying to get back on track before we get to the Alabama series and preview what's to come over the next couple of days.

We'll dive into Tennessee's win over Lipscomb.

I got to tell you, I did tune in to Bama's UAB game for a little midweek scout.

Okay.

And the lack of strikes in the first inning certainly got UAB started.

But three errors also contributed to the seven-run first inning.

So that was one of those midweek games where it was kind of over before it got going.

That's going to go one of two ways for the Crimson Tide heading to Knoxville.

It's either a beautiful outcome for them because it's a crappy midweek and it means

you're going to play good on the weekend or they're not playing clean baseball and Tennessee

needs to take advantage of that.
