who is fresh off the golf course to discuss a fresh series win for Tennessee baseball.

Tennessee finds a way to take two of three from Alabama over the weekend.

It felt improbable after Thursday night's series opening loss.

Weather forces them to play a double header on Friday in less than 24 hours after it suffered a frustrating loss.

After it had to use seven pitchers, it finds a way to get a double-header sweep of Alabama

to take a very important series for the balls.

Mr. Heflin, I know you're riding high on this Monday, just a short while ago.

Tegan Coons was named SEC pitcher of the week, and rightfully so, and that's where we start, because without Teagan Coons, Tennessee does not sweep that

doubleheader on Saturday and therefore, or on Friday, and therefore does not win the

series against Alabama without his complete game shutout.

Yep.

He was absolutely phenomenal.

I thought Eulander said it candidly. He said Tegan won us two games today. And what he meant by that was he essentially saved the entire bullpen for game three. And, you know, the offense did their part it was compliment when you went 10

nothing it's it's complimentary baseball but uh teagan was awesome his career outing to date and he's

he's been better and better and um the last few had been good and then that one one was just, hey, here I am.

So good to see him throw that way, and Tennessee needed it.

It's really good to see him throw that way, especially the way the pitching staff looked the day before.

It was a real leadership slash development moment for Tegan.

Yeah, that was the best outing of his career by far.

And he had been stringing a couple together.
