So as the practice note I talked about how so often we find ourselves not here in the future, you know, imagining or planning or in the past, remembering or

maybe even the fantasizing. And we do this so often, right?

Humans do this a lot.

And so we might ask, why?

Why is it that we're not so often here in the present moment? Why are we anywhere else but

we're everywhere elsewhere except here.

And we might say that there's something about why we're not here. There's something that's maybe it's vague, it's not so clear, it's not obvious, it's

perhaps very subtle, but there's this way that we don't trust the present moment,

like somehow it should be different, or we should be different, or environment should be different,

something should be different.

And so we have this way in which we have an imagination, a view, an idea, a belief, which is 100% in the mind, 100%.

And then we're overlaying that on top of the actual experience

that we're having.

And seeing, oh, this doesn't match.

I have these expectations, I have this belief,

I have this idea how things should be,

how I want them to be all these ideas and we put this

imaginary thing on top of what's actually being experienced and that gap feels uncomfortable.

And so often we're just kind of like disconnecting

with this and then being with what's in the mind,
