1:02.6 | Somehow a feeling that it's, that if we drop into these deep states of meditation, that we won't, it's a betrayal of the world around us. |

1:23.1 | And sometimes what happens is that people are quick to judge these deep meditation states in a |
1:32.2 | particular way, and that is they judge them as if this is the true way of being. |
1:39.7 | Like once I go into this, I have to be this way all the time, that somehow I tap into this, |
1:45.8 | I won't be able to function in my ordinary life. And so there's a resistance, there's a |
1:51.1 | reluctance, there's a fear that I won't be able to, you know, be an acceptable person or a caring |
2:00.7 | person or responsible person. |
2:05.7 | And this is, you know, if that's the case, it's a little unfortunate. |
2:12.1 | But what helps to understand is that these are temporary states that are cleansing, that clean us, that provide us a sense of |
2:20.4 | deep sense of wholeness, satisfaction, peace, well-being. And it isn't that we come back into the |
2:28.8 | world with all the qualities, characteristics of these deep states. But we do come back refreshed. |
