deities and spirits and their devotees.

Today I speak with Angelica Kriishi, a devotee of Hades, king of the underworld in the Greek

Pantheon. But before we get into it, what is a deity? In the simplest terms, it's a God, goddess, divine being. If those terms are too loaded for you, another way to view them is a state of being or a state of mind.

So for example, if you've been feeling self-conscious and want to be in a more powerful state of mind, you can work with a deity of power and confidence, like Sechmet.

If you've been feeling bitter and resentful and want to achieve a compassionate state of mind, you can work with

a deity of love and compassion like Kwan Yin.

A deity is an aspect of the human experience that has been personified, documented, and

artistically interpreted over centuries.

So then, what does it mean to be a devotee? The term alone means someone who is an ardent

believer and enthusiast. When you are a devotee of a deity or spirit, you're

essentially saying that you have a strong connection and relationship to them.

Or you're drawn to a particular state of mind.

And the idea for this mini bonus series came about because I have recently become a devotee of a goddess.

And I want to share my story with you so that you can look into your own experiences

and see if someone's been connecting with you.
