A temporary comeback because Chris Sims is on assignment.

I always feel so fancy when I say that he's an assignment.

Anytime I hear that on TV,

and for all I know,

the person they're referring to just decided to call off,

hungover, who knows, still drunk quite possibly.

But on assignment sounds official.

And I'm not suggesting that Chris is hungover or still drunk or still high. He is officially, as far as I know, on assignment.

So Devin McCordy gets the assignment of replacing Christopher David Sims today. Devin,

great to see you as always.

You had Sims, he sounded so professional when you said on assignment.

And then you threw in all of these other things that for people who watch your show on the regular, they're like, Sims is probably not on assignment.

Like, we know Sims.

He's doing something.

He did something crazy last night.

And you didn't let him off the hook.

So they probably appreciate that all the listeners that you told the truth of where

Simsie is laid up in a bed in Connecticut right now.

We did mention yesterday that he was going to be unavailable.

Well, let me be more accurate.
