Well, I was like you, Susan, and I learned last episode for the first time that many called

Deuteronomy the gospel according to Moses, because it provides the foundation for the Old

Jesus's favorite book. Or we think it is because he quoted it so much.

Deuteronomy, it is the story of Moses's final words to encourage the next generation

to be faithful to God. And also for me, it is that if God make a promise to you, even if you

haven't seen it happen as quickly as you hoped, his promises he keeps. And so do what Moses is
