0:09.4	If you just found us for the first time, welcome to the Bible Book Club Season 5, the Book of Deuteronomy.
0:17.1	If you've been with us since the beginning of Genesis, well, kudos to you. You are about to
0:22.2	complete the Torah, which means you have read one fifth of the entire Bible. That is quite an
0:30.2	accomplishment. It is. Congratulations. And if you've been with us for a while, you might notice

0:38.5	recovering from bronchitis. So she'll sound a little different than normal. But for those of
0:43.7	you who are new, we call this podcast the Bible Book Club because the Bible is the number one
0:49.1	selling book of all time. It must be read. It is fascinating to discuss. The problem is that most of us really
0:56.8	don't have a ton of time to do that. But what if all you had to do was listen while you drive,
1:02.6	work out, fold the laundry, we make that possible for you. We read and discuss and you just have to
1:08.6	download and listen. Book by book, chapter by chapter,
1:11.6	we are not skipping one word of this book. The only other thing you need to know is that as we
1:17.7	discuss, we will occasionally point out what we call a Bible bender. So I'm going to explain to you
1:22.5	guys what that is. The Bible is one of those books that teaches you something new every single
1:27.1	time you read it. Sometimes we trip over information. That is a mind bender, but here in the Bible Book Club, we call it a Bible bender. It's information with a revelation, something that makes you realize that this book is about God's plan for us, and it was divinely directed. A Bible bender for me may be
1:46.9	different than a Bible bender for you, but it is our hope that by listening, you will learn
1:51.7	something new that you never knew before. And the more you learn, the more you will grow in
1:56.4	your faith. Exactly. So why do you need to read the book of Deuteronomy? The answer to this question
